These look like they are ok. There are no notes on Edgy and Feisty. Intel's partial open source driver may be a trap. One should probably avoid these modems, but if you have one it looks like it will work. There are no working modem models listed. Some exist, nobody seems to care to list working models! If you have a working modem please paste PCI device id, and enough product number and manufacturer and maybe a URL to a store so that people can go buy it.

Feisty

Download the prepackaged driver here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=3170759 For the (blob)source, search the web for Philippe Vouters. He now maintains the driver code that Intel has neglected.

Dapper

Breasy

=== HARDY 8.04 === I have a working I536ep. Download: intel536ep-hardy_3-Philippe.Vouters_i386.deb (424.75 KB) FROM: http://www.mediafire.com/?tgpotygcwdg Click on it and it should install. Go to success.txt [/usr/share/doc/intel536ep-hardy] and do what it says. Only good for kernels PRIOR to ...-24.
