sudo cp /etc/proftpd.conf /etc/proftpd.conf_backup
sudo gedit /etc/proftpd.conf

• Append the following lines at the end of file

UserAlias                   anonymous ftp
DirFakeUser on ftp
DirFakeGroup on ftp
RequireValidShell           off
MaxClients                  10

<Directory *>
<Limit WRITE>
DenyAll
</Limit>
</Directory>
</Anonymous>

• Save the edited file
  保存编辑好的文件

sudo /etc/init.d/proftpd restart
