Introduction
This page lists Usenet news readers, which are used to post messages and engage in discussions. Usenet newsgroups are similar to forums and there are thousands of them covering many diverse interests. With Usenet, you access a server to post and download text and files. Google Groups makes it possible to access many newsgroups via a Web browser, but there are still benefits to using Usenet Newsreaders.
Applications
- Pan - Usenet program that's loosely based on Forte's Agent.
- Evolution - Enables access to Usenet.
- KNode - KNode is the newsready component of Kontact, the integrated personal information manager of KDE.
