  • Communication - good communication with other community members working on the wiki is essential to making a good resource:
    • General communication - work together with the DocumentationTeam by chatting on IRC or emailing the mailing list to discuss what you are doing.
    • Commenting - always leave a comment when saving your edits so others can see what you are doing easily.
    • Homepage - make sure that you are easy to contact by creating a homepage on the main Ubuntu wiki or leaving your contact details on your launchpad homepage.
  • Review - put pages into when they have not been reviewed and be encouraged to discuss your contributions on the docteam mailing list. If you let us know about it, it can be reviewed more quickly and taken out of
  • Do not link pages on the pages directly linked-off UserDocumentation (eg. UbuntuHelp:Multimedia) until they have been reviewed and are out of
